Brandon Hill died May 11, a day after he was found suffering life-threatening injuries at 11:20 a.m. on the side of the road of Fourth Line Road near Mohawk Road in the Township of Tuscarora. He was transported by Ornge air ambulance to hospital but died from his wounds.

The OPP Criminal Investigation Branch is assisting Six Nations Police Service with the investigation and on May 21 released the identity of the victim.

A postmortem examination had been done at the Centre of Forensic Sciences in Toronto, police say.

However, to protect the integrity of the investigation, the results of the autopsy are not being released.

The Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service are also assisting with the investigation.

Investigators are asking anyone with information or dash cam video from the area to contact Six Nations Police  at 519-445-2811 or the OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Those who wish to remain anonymous are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online at www.helpsolvecrime.com, to become eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
